- Jan 2009 - Lynne at long last puts her one and only novel, To Touch the Whale, in book form. Look for the AMAZON KINDLE version here: To Touch the Whale .
- Oct 2008 - Lynne had her first painting in a New York show! The show was sponsored by MOCA, the museum of computer art. The show, entitled, DIGITALISM I, featured her work, "Life Lesson 1" and won third place! View the work here. - June 2008 - Lynne had a painting accepted into the Pensacola Museum of Art, Juried Members Show. The painting is titled, "Life Lesson 1". -June 2008 - Lynne had her first piece accepted into the Artel Gallery for the show, "Alien Language". -March 2008 - Lynne was happily surprised when she opened up Issue 14 of the Corel Painter Magazine...there was an article about the newly updated Rabbit Hole Productions website! Now Shawn and Lynne's work is being viewed all over the world via the internet. Text read: "Thanks to Lynne Mitchell in our Corel Painter forum for pointing out that her website Rabbit Hole Productions has had a major overhaul for 2008. Now Painter images are larger and really stand out against the dark colour palette,' says Lynne, who along with Shawn Mitchell, launched the site to showcase their freelance work. A range of free tutorials is also available."
- 2008 - Lynne created the new version of the www.rabbitholeproductions.com website to better showcase the artwork created by herself and her husband, Shawn. -2007- Lynne began experimenting with a new medium - Painter X and the digital oil paint brushes. Starting with photos of family, pets and friends she turned into digital paintings which she then printed on canvas and hand-painted with gel medium.
"The best way to learn is by doing." Lynne's motto holds true. She started putting Painter-created pieces online and entering Painter competitions soon after. When the Corel company started a new magazine and website devoted to Painter, Lynne entered her first competition to win a subscription to the magazine and won! She also had a very nice article printed in the Corel Painter magazine, Issue Two, in the Featured Gallery section which featured several of her art pieces. At the time, she was using Painter IX. When the next competition came out to win version X she jumped at the chance. The rules were to create an artwork that featured a paint can. Everything else was up to the imagination of the artist. Lynne was selected as one of 30 winners to win a copy of the Limited Edition Corel Painter Software X. Her entry was also printed in Issue 6 of the magazine. -Aug 2007 - Lynne has two pieces accepted into the Pensacola Museum of Art Juried Members Show. She wins first place with, Camillas and Old Box.
